2 Cape Cod Ghost Tours

Any destination with a long, rich history is likely to develop its fair share of spooky stories over the years, and Cape Cod is no exception. There are plenty of delightfully chilling tales you can learn about during your stay here. And we know about some fantastic Cape Cod ghost tours that will take you to the iconic areas and historical attractions where they take place. Here are 2 Cape Cod ghost tours for those of you who are fascinated by the paranormal or searching for fun date ideas.

CAIPRS

The Cape and Islands Paranormal Society (CAIPRS) includes a team of paranormal investigators and professional ghost hunters on Cape Cod. They take their job very seriously, and they do the same with providing visitors with top-notch, one-of-a-kind experiences. They currently offer three different tours in the historic Barnstable village:

  • Ghost Hunter’s Tour – Join the team as you all walk through Barnstable with cameras and recording equipment to capture your own evidence of paranormal activity. You’ll learn about spooky tales along the way and even check out a haunted cemetery! These tours typically take about three hours.
  • Haunted and History Tour – Let the CAIPRS team pique your curiosity and captivate your attention at ten different stops along Old King’s Highway. Eight of the stops feature fascinating tales about the struggle between the loyalists and patriots during colonial times in New England. This tour usually takes about two hours, making it a great alternative to the Ghost Hunter’s Tour if you’re short on time.
  • Love You to Death Tour – Are you looking for a more personalized experience that you can enjoy with your sweetheart? Consider making reservations for this private, 90-minute tour with your own guide. You’ll hear tales of lost loves and longing as well as visit some of the spookiest spots in the area. Plus, you get to indulge in Champagne and chocolate cake inside a haunted restaurant at the end of the evening!

Provincetown Ghost Tours

If you’re up for a little day trip and scenic drive up the Cape, you’re more than welcome to check out Provincetown Ghost Tours. It’s another excellent option with tours every night at 9:00 p.m. in the summer and 8:00 p.m. in the fall. They provide the perfect mix of both history and haunted stories as you depart from The Coffee Pot in the town center and explore the area on foot. Walk-ins are welcome, but reservations are strongly encouraged since the tour groups tend to fill up quickly.
