How to Enjoy a Soothing Escape to Seagull Beach
About Seagull Beach
Yarmouth’s largest saltwater beach, Seagull beach is a family-friendly destination that’s a favorite among teens, young adults, and day trippers. Although the beach has many visitors, it’s easy to find your own space to relax. In addition to the soft sand between your toes and calm waters of the Nantucket Sound, you’ll find a lovely handicap-accessible boardwalk, a snack bar, and restroom and shower facilities.
Spend your time at Seagull Beach walking along the shore and collecting seashells or watching seagulls glide through the wind. Take a dip in the refreshing water to cool off or go fishing off the small pier at the east end of the beach. However you choose to spend your day, you’ll enjoy stunning views and serene, uninterrupted sounds of the ocean.
If you’re in town in early October, be sure to catch the firework show at Seagull Beach. As part of the annual Yarmouth Seaside Festival, the sky above Seagull Beach is brightly lit with a dazzling firework display!
